Jaclyn Craig Freelance Creative ConsultantAfter beginning my career in the PR and communication industry (back in the dark ages when Twitter wasn’t even a thing), I began specialising in online media around three years ago and have immersed myself in the world of digital brand building ever since.

At the beginning of 2012, I left my full time agency job to set up jaclyncraig.com, and haven’t looked back once (not even to cross the road, it’s a constant struggle). I’m currently based in London and work freelance as a creative consultant. I aim to help brands find their way and make their mark in the online world, by helping them develop or maintain a clear online personality and tone of voice, ensuring all online content is coherent, and pushing their brand profile further through positive online PR and events. That all sounds very boring so in other words, I do fun and creative things that can help a brand sing! (not literally of course – I’m not that good)

In the past I’ve worked with both up and coming and established brands and agencies, both on an ongoing basis (helping from the ground up until you no longer need me!), on specific projects (one off campaigns, events or anything that needs a bit of GO! GO! GO!) and consultation (when you just need the strategy or advice to run with). I predominantly specialise in social media, creative editorial, blogger outreach and events but I love a challenge so if there’s something else you need just get in touch.

With an appreciation of the power of social media and a penchant for online writing and blogging, I believe I have a good working knowledge of both how to communicate online effectively, and how to engage with online influencers (that’s bloggers to you and I) effectively. However I also like to think that my background in traditional PR has served  me well and I fully understand the fundamental elements of building a brand so can easily work alongside/ in conjunction with a PR team.

In summary – I’m great and you should definitely hire me. (extreme sarcasm alert, I don’t big myself up this much in real life I promise!)
