I worked on a freelance basis as a social media and blogger outreach manager for the jewellery and accessories label, Anna Lou of London for over a year. During this time I was responsible for managing all of the brand’s social media platforms, creating strategy for social communication and devising creative campaigns to improve the brand reach and establish tone of voice. This also included outreach to bloggers and online media.
My main objectives included developing the tone of voice for the brand and identifying a solid online personality, increasing the social following for the brand through creative methods and engaging with fans in a fun and interesting way.
I was responsible for putting together the social strategy and implementing campaigns across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest on a regular basis, as well as creating content and writing all text for online communication. I worked with bloggers regularly to grow the awareness of the brand online and develop the brand tone of voice and acted as community manager, responding to customer queries when needed.
Throughout the year I implemented many successful campaigns, from competitions to discounts and blogger projects. The social media following grew steadily month on month across all platforms.
