In charge of organising a breakfast event on behalf of PR agency, Task PR, to act as a relationship building exercise and introduce key UK bloggers to the range of brands they carry and their latest SS collection and campaigns.
I came up with the idea for a ‘blogger breakfast club’ and created a fun invite in line with ‘The Breakfast Club’ movie. Around 10-15 influential fashion and lifestyle bloggers were invited and the event was laid on at the Task PR showrooms one morning.
I created a vintage breakfast tea party theme by sourcing Royal Albert British china and arranging home baked breakfast food and drinks from Sunday (a private catering cafe in London) as well as unique tea blends from We are Tea. Everything from pancakes to pastries to yoghurt and granola was served and the showroom was completely transformed to resemble a cute cafe. Personal details such as nametags, and goodie bags made the bloggers feel special and there was time following the breakfast to talk them through the brands and collections.
As this was purely relationship building, no direct coverage came as a result of the event however TASK PR recieved a significant rise in social media activity on the day of the event and furthered their blogger relationships for future campaigns.
